Had a great Easter break here! The apartment was super comfortable and had a big kitchen with everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and cozy. The owner was fantastic and even gave the kids some apples! The big, deep bath was a real treat for relaxation. The location was perfect, very quiet but still close to everything. Parking was easy, even though there was limited space on the street. we felt relaxed and at home here, definitely one of the best places we've stayed during our trip.
Only a few small downsides at this place. The bathroom could use a little bit of TLC, like fixing the light hanging from the mirror and the loose bath rubber.

Our apartment was super comfortable with a big kitchen equipped with all essentials. The bedrooms were jaw-droppingly amazing. The host went above and beyond with a warm welcome and even gave the kids apples. The street parking was fine, and the street itself was surprisingly quiet. The location was mind-blowing, with restaurants, bars, and attractions within walking distance. The deep bath was a pleasant surprise. the best place we stayed during our trip.

We really got our money's worth at Altstadthaus. The room was comfortable, had a big kitchen, and the bedrooms were great. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town with restaurants and bars nearby. The staff, especially Hans, was very friendly and cute.
The morning meal could have been better with more variety.

I booked Altstadthaus as part of our 10-day holiday in Germany and it turned out to be the best accommodation by far. The location in the heart of the old town street was perfect, with its peaceful and picturesque surroundings. The owner, Hans, and his family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms comfortably accommodated our two families, and the big kitchen had everything we needed. Additionally, it served as a great base for day trips to nearby cities like Dortmund, Dusseldorf, and Cologne. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
Can recommend this hotel.

The room at Altstadthaus was absolutely charming with its 18th-century sofa bed and rustic decor. As a budget traveler, I felt like I stepped back in time and truly immersed myself in the local culture.
Personally, I found the narrow streets of Arnsberg a bit difficult to navigate, but others might appreciate their quaintness.

The apartment had a certain rustic charm, with its hardwood floors and mix of antique and contemporary furnishings. It felt like stepping back in time, but with all the modern amenities you could need. The fully equipped kitchen was a lifesaver, complete with a dishwasher and microwave, making it easy to whip up some home-cooked meals. One of the highlights was the 18th-century sofa bed in the living room - it was so comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud.
Cleanliness could be better.
